[Locked to Quickman]
Jul. 24th, 2009 07:25 pmI believe this belongs to you.
[Attached: One suit of repaired Quickman armor, polished to a shine]
I must say I rather like armor repair, it made me feel manly, and TA seemed to find an odd sort of zen in polishing your armor till she could see herself in it.
I think I may look to getting a forge put into the basement...
Ah! And I was doing the calculations on your yet to be put together Jet attachment. We have a few options to factor in the extra propulsion to account for your weight.
If we wanted a simple model jetpack for your back it wouldn't take much time at all. Of your choices this would be best for long range flight but you would lose some of your maneuverability in the air.
The second option would require some more work and more then likely practice on your part to fully control, but Jet attachments for your legs would give you a more agile flight. The fuel supply would deplete itself faster so you would lose some airtime but your ability to both dodge mid flight and return yourself to earth after being thrown would be a bonus.
The most elaborate of the options is a quad jet system attachment that would be situated on both your arms and your legs. For quick dodging and maneuvers it would be ideal but it would be the most complicated to learn as well as for me to make. Essentially the more powerful thrusters would be situated in your lower legs and then your arms would contain smaller thrusters for steering. This model combines the best of long range and agility flight in exchange for being more delicate and difficult to put together.
As always I am happy to put myself to work for whatever you desire...though I may need your help procuring finances to come by the materials I need.
Or if you're feeling daring you can liberate the more expensive materials for me.
